Faith that Rewrites Forecasts

Why statistics never get the final word

I grew up beneath forecasts that spoke limitation before I ever spoke for myself. Numbers tried to define my future—what I might become, how far I could go, how likely I was to fail. Those statistics were presented as facts, but they were never the full truth.

Faith interrupted the narrative. Not as denial of reality, but as a deeper authority over it. Faith taught me that data can describe patterns, but it cannot dictate destiny. Where statistics predicted endings, faith began writing continuations.

I have lived the contradiction. I am evidence that numbers do not get the final word— our Lord and Savior does. Faith reframed my struggle into preparation and turned improbability into purpose. What was once a forecast of limitation became a testimony of possibility.
